Consumer prices for hospital services rose 0.6% in April and climbed 6.3% for the 12 months ended in April, according to seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The physician CPI was flat in April and rose 1.6% for the 12 months. The overall CPI increased 0.6% in April, according to seasonally adjusted data.
