Cardiologist Narinder Bhalla has been named chief medical officer of publicly traded QMed, a developer of systems for evidence-based medicine decision support and disease management, the Eatontown, N.J.,-based company has announced.
Bhalla, who has been a consultant for the company for more than a decade, is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the New York University School of Medicine and recently served as chief of cardiology at New York's Brooklyn Hospital Center.
