Glass, 39, who joined the clinic in April 2002 as the controller and chief accounting officer, has held the CFO post on an interim basis since Michael O'Boyle was promoted to COO. ... St. Vincent's Health System, Jacksonville, Fla., has named Scott Whalen executive vice president and COO. Whalen had been COO of Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, since 2000. Whalen, 53, replaces Jeffrey Norman, who left in May 2005 to become executive vice president of Scottsdale (Ariz.) Healthcare System. ... Dennis Millirons has been named president and CEO of Condell Health Network, Libertyville, Ill., replacing Eugene Pritchard, who is retiring at age 72 after 30 years in the post. Millirons, 54, had been president and CEO of Riverside HealthCare, Kankakee, Ill., since 1994. Condell is the parent firm of Condell Medical Center. ... Health Management Associates, Naples, Fla., named Vicki O'Meara to its board of directors, increasing the panel to nine members. O'Meara is an executive with Ryder System, Miami, a transportation and supply chain services company, and also worked as a lawyer in the George H.W. Bush administration, including a stint as assistant attorney general. ... Jim Hayman, 57, was named COO of Wishard Health Services in Indianapolis, parent organization of 293-bed Wishard Memorial Hospital, a public hospital. The post was held by Steve Nathan of turnaround firm FTI Cambio Health Solutions, a healthcare management firm. Hayman, 57, was former senior vice president of clinical support services for Dallas-based Parkland Health and Hospitals System. ... University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, promoted Tammy Peterman from chief nursing officer to vice president of the hospital. ... Boston Medical Center named Peter Healy to the new position of vice president of professional services. Healy, 39, most recently served as vice president of medical affairs and clinical services at Faulkner Hospital in Boston. ... Russell Robertson was named chairman of the family medicine department at Evanston (Ill.) Northwestern Healthcare and the School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Robertson, 53, replaced Martin Lipsky, who was appointed dean for the University of Illinois campus in Rockford, Ill. Most recently, Robertson was an associate professor for the department of family and community medicine, as well as an associate dean of faculty affairs at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. ... DeVos Children's Hospital, Grand Rapids, Mich., has named physician Robert Connors as its new president, replacing another doctor, David Alexander, who left in September 2005 to pursue other interests. Boress was vice president of the group. He replaces Dennis Richling, who resigned to join ColSolutions, Rosemont, Ill., as vice president and medical director. ... Thomas Priselac was appointed chairman of the Association of American Medical Colleges, Washington. Priselac, 54, replaces N. Lynn Eckhert, director of academic programs for Harvard Medical International in Boston. Priselac is president and CEO of Cedars-Sinai Health System, Los Angeles. Richard Krugman, dean of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Boulder, is chairman-elect. ... The Massachusetts Health Data Consortium, Waltham, has appointed Ray Campbell as executive director and CEO, replacing Elliot Stone, who died from liver cancer in April 2005 at age 59. Campbell, 45, has been a lawyer in private practice.

Blaylock has been president since June and was previously the company's executive vice president, CFO and chief administrative officer. ... Snyder, 41, replaces Hideo Dan, who was appointed senior vice president of corporate ethics and compliance, as well as internal audit. Snyder most recently served as vice president and associate general counsel at GlaxoSmithKline.
Michael Eleff was named medical director of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Eleff, 51, was most recently chief medical officer for ITA Partners, an Oncology Disease Management Company in Philadelphia.
