Steven Cooley, M.D., a longtime industry veteran, has been named president of TelaDoc Medical Services, a Dallas-based company that provides telephone consultations between patients and physicians. Cooley was chief executive officer of USCardioVascular, a start-up venture that develops and manages outpatient cardiac catheterization laboratories for cardiologists, before the appointment to TelaDoc. Previously, he was executive vice president of EmCare, a provider of emergency department management services to hospitals throughout the country.
