Federal investigators are looking for the cause of a medical helicopter crash Friday at Providence St. Peter Hospital, Olympia, Wash. The Airlift Northwest helicopter crashed while attempting to take off with a patient. A nurse on board suffered minor injuries. Another nurse, the pilot and patient were uninjured. Another Airlift Northwest helicopter crashed last month into Puget Sound near Edmonds, killing the pilot and two nurses. The helicopter that crashed Friday was a month old -- so new it hadn't had its first scheduled maintenance. A second new helicopter has been grounded until investigators find out what went wrong. -- by the Associated Press
