The board of the National Rural Health Association, Kansas City, Mo., elected Alan Morgan as chief executive officer of the 10,000-member advocacy group, changing the top title from executive director. Morgan, 38, has been vice president of government affairs and policy at the NRHA since February 2001 and its interim executive director since the beginning of this year, following the resignation of Steve Wilhide. -- by Joseph Mantone
