Horizon Health Corp., Lewisville, Texas, sold its staffing agency, ProCare One Nurses, for $8.3 million to CareerStaff Unlimited, a subsidiary of long-term-care provider Sun Healthcare Group. The move is another indicator that Horizon will focus more on its core business of behavioral health, analyst Nancy Weaver, from investment bank Stephens, said in a research note. Weaver said behavioral-health services likely would account for 44% of Horizon's revenue in fiscal 2006, compared with 25% in fiscal 2005. ProCare had revenue of $18 million in 2004. As of May 31, Horizon had 108 behavioral-health management contracts and 31 physical-rehabilitation management contracts. The company owned or operated three behavioral-health hospitals. -- by Joseph Mantone
