Acute-care hospital prices climbed 0.4% in April and 5.7% in the 12 months ended in April, according to the seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The CPI rose 0.7% in both February and March. Meanwhile, consumer prices for physician services increased 0.4% in April and 3.3% in the 12 months.
