Two former Province Healthcare Co. executives are forming a new hospital company called Capella Healthcare backed by $200 million in private equity from GTCR Golder Rauner. Daniel Slipkovich, most recently Province's president and chief operating officer, will be chief executive officer. Thomas Anderson, Province's senior vice president of acquisitions and development for the past seven years, will be president. Like Province, Capella will focus on acquiring and building hospitals in nonurban markets and will be based in Brentwood, Tenn. -- by Vince Galloro
