"The cost of health insurance has risen more than 10% in each of the past four years, prompting companies to cut or drop health insurance and forcing some 45 million people to go without coverage. Seventy percent of voters polled Tuesday said they were `very concerned' about the availability and cost of healthcare. The first step toward a bipartisan approach is to agree on universal coverage as a goal and be honest about its cost. There are ideas for reforming the system that cross party lines.
