Two dialysis service companies -- Renal Care Group, Nashville, and DaVita, El Segundo, Calif. -- announced that they have been served subpoenas by the U.S. Justice Department. The companies said the subpoenas seek information related to testing for parathyroid hormone levels and vitamin D therapies. The parathyroid hormone and vitamin D help regulate calcium levels.
