Christus Spohn Health System finalized its purchase of 138-bed Alice (Texas) Regional Hospital and will immediately begin consolidating inpatient services there. The purchase from Triad Hospitals, Plano, Texas, was announced in February. A price has not been disclosed. Christus Spohn, the South Texas division of Christus Health, said it will transfer inpatient services from its 63-bed hospital in Alice to the newly acquired facility, which will be called Christus Spohn Hospital Alice.
