The majority of Americans say they favor creating special health courts to be used for medical malpractice lawsuits, according to a new survey by Harris Interactive, a market-research and consulting firm. The survey, conducted from May 13 to 17, included a cross-section of 2,386 adults ages 18 and older. about 62% said they favor having medical experts decide injury cases. The poll was sponsored by Common Good, a bipartisan coalition that is pushing for malpractice reform.
