In the April 26 cover story "Too much, too soon," (p. 6) a statistic on installation time for a bar-code medication system by Bridge Medical was incorrect and incorrectly attributed to its president. The installation time of 67 days should have referred to the average span for introducing a "smart" intravenous-pump capability by Alaris Medical Systems. For Bridge Medical, the bar-code system can be implemented in "as little as four months, with most taking six to seven," said President Denean Rivera.
