Jeptha Dalston, 73, is stepping down as the president and CEO of the Arlington, Va.-based Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
In an e-mail to friends and colleagues, Dalston said he was retiring from the post after five years, effective June 30. Dalston said he would continue in his role as president and CEO of the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health Services Administration. An AUPHA spokeswoman said the association plans on making a formal announcement later this week.
Dalston said his continued role at the accrediting commission, where he will focus on operational and strategic objectives, would benefit both organizations. Last year, Dalston resigned from the board of the National Center for Healthcare Leadership. -- by Patrick Reilly
