Frank McCullough, who was president of Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, and its 233-bed hospital from 1996 to 2003, died of prostate cancer at his home in Perrysburg, Ohio, on Monday. He was 63. McCullough, a board-certified gastroenterologist and Air Force veteran, joined the college in 1978 as a professor and chief of gastroenterology in the department of medicine. He helped launch the college's hospital in 1979 and during his career there worked in various positions including: chief administrative officer, chief of staff, executive vice president, medical director and vice president of clinical services. He is survived by his wife, Lynne, a physician; sons Daniel, Matt and Michael; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday in Perrysburg. -- by Mark Taylor
