The American Hospital Association's Award of Honor has been bestowed on Ron Anderson, president and chief executive officer of Parkland Health and Hospital System, Dallas, for his efforts to increase healthcare access for low-income residents. The annual award recognizes executives whose leadership on health policy and social issues has contributed to improving the health of area residents.
