Senior citizens are more worldly-wise than the general populace when it comes to price differences between America and Europe for drugs and medical care, according to a recent poll.
Pollster Harris Interactive asked 3,778 adults, "How do you think the prices of each of these items in the United States compare with the prices in Europe?"
Among those age 65 and older, 70% said drugs were more expensive here than there and 66% said healthcare was higher priced in the United States than across the Atlantic. For all adults, the numbers were 58% and 55% respectively.
