A plan for a $35 million bailout of Dimensions Healthcare System, which runs 310-bed Prince George's Hospital Center, Cheverly, Md., is expected to be approved next week, a system spokeswoman said. Under the plan, the system would receive $15 million this year and an additional $20 million over the next four years from Prince George's (Md.) County. The initial funding would include $5 million from the county budget, $5 million from the sale of county-owned land and $5 million from the sale of hospital-owned land. Earlier this year, Dimensions received a $5 million bailout from the county and state. The system is the largest healthcare provider in the county and cares for an estimated 75% of the area's uninsured. -- by Julie Piotrowski
