The number of uninsured reported by the U.S. Census Bureau rose for the second consecutive year in 2002 -- to 15.2% of the population. From 1998 to 2000, however, the number of uninsured reported by the Census Bureau declined. An item in the Sept. 30 Daily Dose incorrectly stated that the figure rose for the fourth consecutive year.
