Four former senior consultants at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young have joined Huron Consulting Group, Chicago, to launch a healthcare provider consulting practice. All four -- Gregory Anthony, Ann Scott Blouin, John Klare and James Pizzo -- resigned Cap Gemini voluntarily during the past few months and joined Huron as managing directors after Labor Day, said Blouin, who led Cap Gemini's national healthcare consulting group. In today's Modern Healthcare, industry sources were cited as saying that as many as eight key partners in Cap Gemini's healthcare practice had been terminated recently after proposing a buyout of the apparently troubled division. In the report, Cap Gemini officials would not confirm the terminations but acknowledged that the firm had lost some partners. Blouin said she's been gone from Cap Gemini for nearly three months and doesn't have knowledge of the situation at her former employer.
