The Federal Trade Commission and the Justice Department announced the agenda for their upcoming hearings on healthcare competition Sept. 24-26 and Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in Washington. The first weekend will cover physicians issues and group purchasing organizations. The second weekend will include international perspectives on healthcare competition, a review of Medicare and Medicaid, and a discussion of civil and criminal remedies for antitrust violations.
