Striving to enhance the quality of patient care and practice of nursing, Tenet Healthcare Corp. has named Jennifer Daley, M.D., and Lauren Arnold to newly created quality leadership positions.
Their appointments were announced Wednesday in conjunction with the launch of Tenet's new "Commitment to Quality" strategy.
Daley takes the new position of senior vice president, clinical quality. Previously, she held senior positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, both in Boston.
Arnold, who held leadership positions at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, takes the new position of vice president, nursing.
"I believe there is only one sustainable strategy for health care providers, and that is a relentless emphasis on quality," says Tenet President and acting CEO Trevor Fetter in a release.
Fetter adds, "The appointments of Jennifer Daley and Lauren Arnold and the launch of our companywide Commitment to Quality program are a reflection of our deep commitment to quality."
