The American Hospital Association has ceased publishing Healthcare Forum Journal, a long-running bimonthly magazine acquired by the AHA in 1998. The AHA decided to shut down the 32,000-circulation journal because of declining advertising revenue and readership, AHA spokesman Richard Wade said. "This comes after a long period of trying to maintain it," Wade said. No job losses will result, he said. The AHA acquired the journal from Healthcare Forum, San Francisco. -- by Patrick Reilly
