J. Luke McGuinness Jr., 59, has been hired as president and CEO of both Central DuPage Health and Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Ill. McGuinness is leaving a position as senior vice president for development at Vanguard Health System, Nashville, and as president and CEO of Vanguard's MacNeal Health Network, Berwyn, Ill. He is expected to start at Central DuPage in July, a Central DuPage spokeswoman said. Four senior executives left the hospital and its parent organization last fall, including Donald Sibery, former president and CEO of the parent, and David Fox, former president of the hospital. After a survey last year, the hospital received five Type I recommendations from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It also has been inspected at least twice in the last year by the CMS.
