Sunlink Health Systems, Atlanta, has opened 35-bed Mountainside Medical Center, Jasper, Ga., as a replacement for a 40-bed hospital that had served the area since 1969. The new $17 million medical center began accepting patients last Friday in the northern Atlanta suburb, which ranks as the fourth-fastest growing county in the state.
