Some 660 claims totaling more than $5.2 billion have been filed against bankrupt National Century Financial Enterprises, according to a tally released by the company's bankruptcy attorneys. This week marked the deadline for nongovernmental entities to file claims against NCFE, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November.
