Catholic Health Initiatives, Denver, named Charles Ivy executive director of its Albuquerque community health services organization. The organization was created in 2002 with the proceeds of CHI's $77 million sale of St. Joseph Healthcare System, Albuquerque, to for-profit Ardent Health Services. CHI's promise to keep the sale's estimated $20 million proceeds in New Mexico was a key element in winning state approval of the deal. Ivy is a former St. Joseph executive. The community services organization works with existing community agencies and programs. -- by Patrick Reilly
