IPC, North Hollywood, Calif., acquired Hospitalists of San Antonio, which employs six full-time and 10 part-time physicians at 14 hospitals. The deal gives the company its 10th market nationally and its fourth in Texas. IPC President Jeffrey Taylor said the company will recruit more physicians to the practice, citing a rapidly growing market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
