After nearly 22 years at the helm, Richard Neugent, CEO of the Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, Greenville, S.C., plans to retire from the Roman Catholic system in May, the Greenville system said. Neugent, 59, has held the top job with St. Francis since 1981, when it was a single-campus hospital with 196 beds. The system now includes two campuses and 319 beds. COO Patrick Booth will take on some of Neugent's responsibilities while a national search for a successor is conducted.
