Fourteen-hospital Iasis Healthcare Corp., Franklin, Tenn., earned $5.8 million for its fourth quarter ended Sept. 30 -- a turnaround from a $4.6 million loss in the year-ago quarter. Revenue increased 10.9% to $244.7 million. For the year, the privately held company earned $27.6 million on revenue of $949.9 million. By comparison, in its fiscal 2001, Iasis posted a net loss on continuing operations of $30.9 million and revenue of $889.5 million. The chain recently announced plans to build an $80 million, 170-bed hospital in Jefferson County, Texas, to replace two aging facilities. Construction is scheduled begin next summer.
