Richard Henault, executive vice president of Methodist Health Care System Foundation, Houston, was nominated as chairman-elect of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Chicago. The college will hold its election in March during its 46th annual Congress on Healthcare Management. If elected, Henault will serve the first part of a three-year term, followed by one-year stints in the offices of chairman and immediate past-chairman. Meanwhile, Donald Wilson, M.D., dean of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, was confirmed as chairman-elect of the Association of American Medical Colleges, Washington, during its annual meeting this week in San Francisco. Theresa Bischoff, president of New York University Hospitals Center and co-executive vice president of Mount Sinai NYU Health, began a one-year term as chairwoman of the group. - by Patrick Reilly and Michael Romano
