Matthew Fink, M.D., president of 992-bed Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, is stepping down after five years to return to clinical practice in neurology. In addition to resuming his career in patient care, teaching and research at Beth Israel, Fink, 51, will serve as director of the neuroscience service line for four-hospital Continuum Health Partners, which includes Beth Israel. Thomas Killip, M.D., clinical director of the Continuum Heart Institute, will step in as acting president of Beth Israel. -- by Cinda Becker
