I enjoyed the last issue, including the article "Follow Suit?" (see February, page 16). As a long-time medical director, I certainly feel similar pressures, which are often even more intense in my field of mental/behavioral health.
In the article, Linda Peeno, M.D., said she "favors a universal code of ethics for medical directors" (see page 20) and wished she had one to use. She--and your readership--might be interested to know that we have developed one for psychiatrist medical directors, which can be applied to other medical specialties.
