Cinda Becker has joined MODERN HEALTHCARE as New York bureau chief. She replaces Scott Hensley, who reports for the Wall Street Journal.
Becker, 47, previously covered healthcare for the Home News Tribune, a Gannett Co. newspaper in Central New Jersey. Becker graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in English literature and philosophy. She also was a Kiplinger Fellow in journalism at Ohio State University.
Becker will cover medical technology and hospital purchasing issues, as well as healthcare news in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
