I was pretty stunned by the cover of your April 24 issue.
What's the deal with the cleavage and the wedding dress hiked up past the bride's knees, the visual focus of the photo being those knees?
Readership down? Trying to spice up interest in the publication? Well, do it with journalism, not by resorting to sexually titillating images.
This is a professional business magazine with a varied constituency. What that cover said to me was not that hospital organizations were breaking off merger plans. What it shouted was that sex sells, and the good-old-boy network is alive and well.
