Scott Hensley has been promoted to New York bureau chief of MODERN HEALTHCARE.
Hensley, 38, joined the magazine as a reporter in 1996. Previously, he was a reporter for the American Banker and spent 10 years as an executive in the medical technology industry.
Hensley specializes in medical technology, group purchasing and materials management. In 1999, he earned the top award in healthcare trade journalism from the National Institute for Health Care Management.
Hensley succeeds Karen Pallarito, who joined a Reuters subsidiary after 10 years with this magazine.
