MODERN HEALTHCARE and the Academy for International Health Studies have entered a strategic partnership.
In addition to serving in a sponsorship role for the annual international healthcare summit, MODERN HEALTHCARE has become the official publication for the academy's trade and study missions.
The two organizations will identify and develop information resources on global healthcare issues.
The academy is an educational and networking business organization founded in 1993 to serve health plans, providers, pharmaceutical companies, medical devicemakers and information technology vendors interested in trans-border healthcare.
Headquartered in Davis, Calif., the academy arranges two trade and study missions each year for chief executive officers of U.S. healthcare companies and presents the annual Summit on International Managed Care Trends.
Next year, the academy has scheduled trips to Spain and the Philippines. It has sponsored 13 trade missions in the past six years.
More information about the academy is available on its World Wide Web site at www.aihs.com.
