Ancilla Systems, a Roman Catholic healthcare system headquartered in Hobart, Ind., has had a shake-up in its top management.
A spokesman for the six-hospital system confirmed that "no longer with the system" are William Harkins, president and chief executive officer; Forman Friend, chief financial officer, senior vice president and treasurer; and Michael Carr, senior vice president of human resources and managed care.
Ancilla won't comment about the reasons for their departure and won't even say when they left.
"I can't get into those kinds of details," said Lawrence Jagnow, senior vice president of system services.
The three former executives could not be reached for comment.
Since May, Bain Farris, who came to Ancilla from a consulting firm in Indianapolis, has been serving as the system's interim CEO, Jagnow said.
Jagnow said Ancilla also is in the market for a partner.
Ancilla is sponsored by the Donaldson, Ind.-based Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. The system owns two hospitals in Illinois and three hospitals in Indiana.
