A growing number of physician executives are going online to tap into the extensive information available there. Now they can find the latest news and information affecting the business of medicine on Modern Physician's Web site.
The home page includes cover articles for each issue going back to May 1997 and selected features from recent issues. In addition, online visitors can send a letter to the editor or provide us with an anonymous news tip.
A feature called "Second Opinion" allows Modern Physician's readers to express their opinions about a timely topic -- and to review what others have to say. In June, the discussion topic was union membership; for July, it's slow payment to physicians by managed care companies.
