MODERN HEALTHCARE welcomes a new member to its staff. Brad Alig has joined the magazine as art director. Alig will work with Keith Horist, assistant managing editor/graphics, in developing the visual aspects of the publication.
Alig is an experienced graphics designer who has worked on a wide variety of print and on-line projects. He is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., with a degree in fine arts/graphics design.
We also welcome two new members to the magazine's extended family. New York bureau chief Karen Pallarito and Nashville correspondent Patricia B. Limbacher are both new mothers. Pallarito's son, Zachary, was born Feb. 10, and Limbacher's daughter, Katharine Ann, was born April 9. Mothers and babies are well and happy. Pallarito has returned to work. Her new office telephone number is (718) 499-4734. Limbacher is on maternity leave but will return to work in early July.
