Erie D. Chapman III, former president and chief executive officer of U.S. Health Corp., has been named chief operating officer of InPhyNet Medical Management.
Chapman, 52, resigned from Columbus, Ohio-based U.S. Health June 30, 1995. Since then, he formed a consulting company called Chapman Health International in Columbus, which he said he will continue to operate.
Chapman has been a member of the board of InPhyNet, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based physician management company, since May 18. He said he welcomes the opportunity to play a key role in "a high-growth, high-integrity company in a rapidly developing area of the medical field."
Chapman said he will maintain homes in Columbus and Fort Lauderdale.
