Treemont is renovating an existing building on its campus to house a new family practice and senior healthcare center at a cost of about $1.2 million. Students in the residency program, which is affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, will rotate through Treemont as part of their training. Nick Roccaforte, Treemont's executive director, said it's the first IHS facility to have a family practice residency on campus.
