Several staff additions have occurred as part of MODERN HEALTHCARE's effort to keep readers up to date on weekly healthcare business news.
Greg Rodewald joined us as a copy editor after more than two years at the Asian Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong, where he was deputy news editor. Before that he was a business copy editor for the San Jose (Calif.) Mercury News. Rodewald, 34, has bachelor's degrees in business administration and journalism from California State University, Long Beach.
Kevin McConkey, 25, is our new assistant graphics editor. He holds a bachelor's degree in creative writing from the University of Kansas. While in Kansas, McConkey started Agile Advertising and Design to meet a growing regional demand for artful promotion. He has been involved in several national and international design projects.
Charlotte Snow, 24, is joining us as editorial researcher. She had been a reporter covering tax policy matters affecting healthcare providers for a daily on-line news service operated by Commerce Clearing House in Washington. She is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
Meanwhile, Keith Horist was named assistant managing editor, graphics; and Kelly Shriver was promoted to reporter covering outpatient care, post-acute care and long-term care.
