MODERN HEALTHCARE is asking its hospital executive readership to grade the American Hospital Association. And today is the last chance.
On p. 46, readers will find a one-page questionnaire that offers hospital executives an opportunity to complete a "report card" on the AHA.
The topics include the association's advocacy efforts in Washington as well as its educational and service work on behalf of its members. There also is a question about whether the AHA should expand its membership to include provider networks controlled by insurers and physicians.
The questionnaire was developed in cooperation with the AHA. It first appeared in the July 17 issue on p. 11.
The deadline for completing the survey is July 24. Completed surveys should be faxed back to MODERN HEALTHCARE at 312-280-3183. One survey per hospital, please.
The results will appear in the Aug. 21 issue of MODERN HEALTHCARE along with a completed survey by AHA President Richard Davidson.
