American Health Properties has announced $17 million in new investments.
They include an $8 million investment in Walsh Medical Arts Center, a medical office building in Murrieta, Calif., which is leased to Rancho California Medical Associates, a 22-physician partnership. The office building is across the street from a developing healthcare campus operated by Sharp Healthcare System of San Diego.
The Denver-based real estate investment trust also has agreed to purchase a medical office building that will be attached to Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, Calif. The REIT will pay $9 million for that office building when it's completed. AHP is funding the hospital's construction and previously announced plans to purchase the 76-bed acute-care facility for $15 million.
