Summit Health reported a 21% increase in net income for the second quarter ended Dec. 31, 1993, to $6.1 million, or 18 cents per share, compared with $5 million, or 15 cents per share, in the year-ago period.
The California-based chain of 12 hospitals posted a 3% rise in revenues to $133.9 million. For the six months, net income rose 24% to $11 million, or 33 cents per share, compared with $ 8.8 million, or 27 cents per share. Revenues rose 5% to $263.1 million.
