Michael Slubowski

Slubowski has headed the Trinity Health system–101 hospitals, 126 continuing care locations, 136 urgent care locations and other healthcare assets across 27 states–since 2019. In 2023, Trinity Health responded to the nursing shortage by launching a new care delivery model in 38 nursing units. Through TogetherTeam Virtual Connected Care, patients receive services from a direct-care registered nurse, an on-site nursing assistant or licensed practical nurse, and a registered nurse connected to the patient’s room virtually. Slubowski previously served as Trinity’s president and chief operating officer. He is a board member of Universal Technical Institute, which owns Concorde Career Colleges, a major provider of training programs in allied health, nursing and patient care. In 2023, he joined the National Health Care CEO Council on Gun Violence Prevention and Safety, which seeks to raise awareness of the need to address gun violence.
