    Sam is a principal on the healthcare design team at ESa with 38 years of experience in the design of new hospitals, hospital expansions and renovations, medical office buildings, outpatient surgery centers, cancer treatment facilities and nursing/assisted living communities. He has designed numerous projects across the country and abroad, as well as handled related responsibilities of programming, master planning, project coordination and research initiatives with evidence-based design. He is a frequent speaker and panelist in conferences and presenter in webinars. Sam is also a published author of healthcare design related articles and is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Healthcare Design magazine.

    With decades of healthcare industry experience, Rob is a consultative leader in medical equipment planning, technology decision making, cost reduction and supply chain management programs.

    Rob holds a BSE in biomedical engineering from Duke University and an MBA specializing in healthcare services from Temple University, and spent more than 20 years in various strategic and project management roles at ECRI. He recently joined Attainia.

    Mike McMahan offers valuable insight to healthcare leaders by intersecting his extensive healthcare background and commercial real estate experience. Using his expertise garnered over 25 years of operations and leadership experience at health systems and hospitals and as a former clinician, McMahan is responsible for leading Ryan Companies’ healthcare practice. From comprising a growing national team of real estate and facilities specialists in programming to real estate development and project management to capital solutions, McMahan understands the importance of guiding and consulting healthcare executives on facility and real estate options to provide the most value-based and effective care for their patients. In 2020, McMahan was named as a Healthcare Innovator by GlobeSt Real Estate Forum Magazine.

    Richard M. Rendina

    Richard M. Rendina is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rendina Healthcare Real EstateTM, where he has led all strategic and operational functions of the company since December 2006. Under his leadership, Rendina continues to develop, acquire, own, and manage a premier portfolio of healthcare real estate throughout the country. Richard has personally overseen the development and acquisition of more than 2 million square feet of real estate in 13 states, representing project costs of approximately $500 million.

    Currently, Richard serves on multiple organizational boards that focus on local and philanthropic initiatives, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Board and the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. Richard is also the Vice President of the Rendina Family Foundation. Richard graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Management and Entrepreneurship.
