General Program Questions:
Q: What is this program about?
A: Our annual Trustee of the Year award co-sponsored by Witt/Kieffer, recognizes trustees who have made remarkable achievements in community relations, leadership, ethics, strategy and finance. We'll honor two outstanding trustees for their contributions to healthcare governance, one award for small healthcare organizations - those with fewer than 250 beds or less that $75 million in annual revenue and another award for larger organizations.
Q: When is the call for entries?
A: The call for entries is now closed.

Q: How do I nominate someone?
- Send
Modern Healthcare a letter no longer than five pages detailing the person's background and accomplishments in his or her role as a healthcare trustee.
- Letters also should include the number of years the trustee has been on the board
- The name of the healthcare organization's chief executive officer
- The organization's number of staffed beds, if applicable
- 2008 total revenue
- Contact information

A: The 2010 program is now closed. Check back later this fall for the call for nominations for the 2011 program.
